WHAT IS IN THIS BOX ================================================================================ A joke about a computer you have not bought yet. $NEWPC is a meme coin. It does not do anything. There is no product, no service, no revenue and no company behind it, and owning it entitles you to nothing except owning it. There is a game. It is described in section 7, and that section is written to stop this one being quietly reinterpreted: the game is not a use for the token, it is not finished, it may never be finished, and buying $NEWPC buys no claim on it. The paragraph above stands with the game in the world. The joke has one moving part. On Robinhood Chain a token can be priced in a tokenised share instead of in ETH, so this one is priced in NVIDIA. That means the chart does not read "coin goes up". It reads: how much of a graphics-card company my build fund is worth today which is the actual experience of saving up for a PC, rendered as a price feed. That is the entire idea. There is no second idea. ================================================================================ 2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS ================================================================================ MINIMUM - An EVM wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, or similar) - Robinhood Chain added as a network - ETH on Robinhood Chain for gas - Money you are fully prepared to lose RECOMMENDED - All of the above - A tolerance for owning something worthless - A sense of humour that survives a red candle NOT REQUIRED - Trust in the creator - Belief in a roadmap - Any expectation of profit ================================================================================ 3. INSTALLATION ================================================================================ STEP 1 Install a wallet and add Robinhood Chain. STEP 2 Fund it. You need ETH for gas either way. If you are buying with the NVDA pair you also need the tokenised NVIDIA share. STEP 3 Open the token page on pons, connect, and swap. STEP 4 Verify the contract address against this file and against the block explorer before you send anything anywhere. IMPORTANT: there is exactly one contract address. It is printed in section 5 and on the homepage. Anything that reaches you by direct message is not it. Nobody involved with this token will ever message you first. ================================================================================ 4. HOW THE CURVE WORKS ================================================================================ $NEWPC launches on pons, the launchpad on Robinhood Chain. The mechanics below belong to pons, not to this token. They are the same for every token launched there, and none of them were negotiated or configured specially. ON LAUNCH The entire supply is minted straight into a bonding curve contract. The creator receives no allocation. There is no team wallet, no treasury, no vesting schedule and no unlock cliff, because there is nothing to unlock. WHILE TRADING Buyers and sellers trade against the curve. The price rises as the curve fills. Trades cost 2.00% in total: 1.00% to the launchpad, and a 1.00% creator tax that goes to the creator. FOR THE FIRST 3 SECONDS A 99% tax applies to buys and decays to zero. It exists to make the first block worthless to snipe. It does not stop anybody who simply waits four seconds, and it is not claimed to. AT GRADUATION Once the curve has taken in its threshold, it closes. A slice of supply is locked permanently, and the proceeds seed a Uniswap v4 pool. That liquidity position is locked forever. Neither the creator nor pons can withdraw it. This is the part worth understanding: the usual way a meme coin dies is the creator removing the liquidity. Here that is not a promise anyone is making. It is not possible. ================================================================================ 5. One percent is the launchpad's. One percent is a creator tax and it goes to the creator. That is a real cut of your trade, taken by a person, and it is written here in the specifications rather than left somewhere you would have to go looking for it. It is set once, at launch, and the contract does not allow raising it afterwards. The cap the launchpad would have permitted is 10%. Where the two percent goes, exactly: one percent is the launchpad's fee and a share of that reaches the creator; the other percent is the creator tax and reaches the creator in full. pons offers a switch that routes a creator's fees to holders instead of keeping them. IT IS SWITCHED OFF HERE. Nothing is routed to holders, and no part of any fee reaches anybody for holding this token. That is a choice, and it is printed here rather than left on the contract for you to discover. ================================================================================ 6. WHAT THE CREATOR CAN AND CANNOT DO ================================================================================ CANNOT [X] Cannot mint more supply. Fixed at launch. [X] Cannot hold a premine. All supply goes to the curve. [X] Cannot pull liquidity. Locked permanently at graduation. [X] Cannot change the fee or the tax. Set at creation, immutable after. CAN [!] BOUGHT FIRST. The launchpad lets the creator buy inside the same transaction that creates the token, which is before anybody else can trade at all, and at the lowest price the curve will ever offer. That is what happened: 3.0723 NVDA. The snipe-tax exemption list is empty and no wallet was given a head start over another - but the launch transaction is its own head start, and pretending otherwise would be the exact kind of thing this file exists to avoid. [!] Can buy tokens like anyone else afterwards. [!] Can sell them like anyone else. [!] Can stop posting and walk away at any time, with no notice. The creator's wallet address is published on the homepage. Everything bought from it and everything sold from it is visible to you in real time. This is the honest version of "trust me": do not, and watch instead. ================================================================================ 7. ABOUT THE GAME ================================================================================ There is a game. It is not what you are buying, and this section exists so that nobody has to hear a better story about it from somebody else. WHAT IT IS Buy a mystery box, get one random PC part: random category, random tier, random condition. Ten filled slots make a computer. A computer can be scored, and the scores go on a season table. A bad pairing does not stop the machine booting - it costs points, which is the argument every PC builder has already had for free. WHAT IT IS NOT It is not a use for the token. Holding $NEWPC does not entitle you to the game, to a place in it, or to anything produced inside it. Playing does not entitle you to tokens. Neither is a claim on the other, and nothing in section 10 is softened by this section existing. WHAT EXISTS TODAY A browser demo, and nothing else. No wallet, no signing, no payment of any kind. Its credits are a demo currency handed out free on a timer; they map to no token, no money and no future entitlement, so that what gets tested is the game rather than a deposit. It is not published at a public address right now. WHY BOXES INSTEAD OF A SHOP This was measured, not decided. The first design let a player buy the parts they wanted at listed prices, and that game is solved: brute force over all 842,850 valid builds finds exactly ONE build within a point of the optimum in the main budget class. Publish a catalogue and anybody can compute the answer in an evening, after which the whole table is playing the same computer. Random boxes fix it completely. Simulated over a 300-player season: free choice at fixed prices .... 1 distinct build, 100% on it mystery boxes .................. 215 distinct builds, 1% on it Randomness does not remove skill, it moves it. A skilled player builds the best LEGAL machine out of what dropped; a naive one puts the most powerful part in every slot and ignores compatibility. boxes per player skilled naive 25 31.6 5.5 40 41.9 9.5 The naive machine usually does not boot. The skill did not go anywhere - it moved from "pick the parts" to "build the right thing out of what you have, and trade for the rest". That last clause is a requirement, not a flourish. Without trading, a player needs about forty boxes to fill ten slots, which is the worst funnel a game can have. With a market between players, fifteen is enough: boxes alone with a market 10 0.0% 93% 15 5.0% 100% 40 85.8% 100% So trading ships at the same time as the boxes or neither ships. WHERE THE PARTS LIVE Parts and computers are ERC-721 tokens on Robinhood Chain, the same chain the coin runs on. This is not a feature bolted on to make the coin sound useful. It is the only arrangement in which the trading described above can exist at all: a part you do not actually own is a part you cannot actually trade, and without trading the numbers in the last table are the ones on the left. There is no marketplace of ours and there is not going to be one. A plain ERC-721 on this chain is already indexed by OpenSea, which carries Robinhood Chain as a first-class network, and by RhinoMarket, which settles through a contract with no admin key. Resale is therefore somebody else's contract, somebody else's audit and somebody else's liability - the right amount of each for a project with no team. Two consequences, written down because they are the easy ones to leave out of a page like this: A RESALE EARNS THIS PROJECT NOTHING. Those venues take no royalty and one of them is built so that it cannot be made to. Money reaches the burn and the prize pool when a box is bought and at no other moment. Nobody here collects a cut of a trade between two players. A SECOND-HAND PART BURNS NO COIN. New parts come out of boxes and nowhere else, so the supply is still gated - but a patient player with ETH can assemble a whole computer without ever touching $NEWPC. That is what an open market means. It is preferred to the alternative, which is a market we run and can be accused of running. THE PART THAT IS NOT A JOKE Paid random boxes whose contents are ERC-721 tokens, resellable for real money on public marketplaces, combined with a prize pool, is a loot box. Loot boxes are regulated as gambling in a growing list of countries and that list is not settled. The market belonging to somebody else does not soften this. It sharpens it: it makes the resale value of what comes out of a box real, public and quotable, which is precisely the property regulators look for. A prize pool funded by box sales and paid out by rank is redistribution. It is zero-sum before the burn and negative-sum after it. Most players who pay in get back less than they put in - by construction, not by bad luck - and it will never be described here or anywhere else as earning. Two consequences, decided rather than under consideration: prizes go to top ranks and never as a payout per computer built, and no paid version launches into a jurisdiction where the question is open. STATUS Unbuilt, unscheduled, and possibly never. The token shipped without it and does not depend on it. If it never appears, no promise here has been broken, because none of this is a promise. ================================================================================ 8. KNOWN ISSUES ================================================================================ ISSUE This token may go to zero. STATUS: Working as designed. Will not be fixed. ISSUE There is no roadmap. STATUS: Not a defect. There was never going to be one. ISSUE There is no team, no company and no support desk. STATUS: Correct. The chat is other holders, not staff. ISSUE The price depends on a tokenised share, which trades on market hours and can be thin outside them. STATUS: Known. It is a consequence of the joke, and the joke is the only reason this token exists. ISSUE The paired asset is issued by a company, and that company holds real powers over it in its own contract: it can pause transfers, block an address, or burn a balance outright. STATUS: True of every tokenised share, and confirmed by reading the contract rather than the marketing. This token's own locked liquidity does not protect against it, because the liquidity is locked in a pair with that asset. It is part of the price of the joke. ISSUE The game in section 7 does not exist yet. STATUS: Correct, and written down that way on purpose. There is no date, no commitment, and no dependency on it in either direction. ISSUE Approximately 1.4% of tokens launched on pons ever reach graduation. STATUS: Accurate. The base rate for this kind of thing is failure. ISSUE Buying random tokens on the internet is a way to lose money. STATUS: Confirmed. Reproducible. Widely reported. ================================================================================ 9. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ================================================================================ Q: Will it go up? A: Unknown, and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you. Q: What is the utility? A: There is none. There is a game, described in section 7, and a game is not a utility: the token buys no access to it and it pays out no tokens. Q: So is the game the reason to buy? A: No. It is unbuilt, unscheduled and may never ship. Buying on the strength of section 7 is buying a promise nobody made. Q: Is there a presale, a whitelist, or an allocation for anyone? A: No. There is no mechanism for one. The entire supply goes to the curve in the launch transaction. Q: Why NVIDIA and not ETH? A: Because "my build fund, measured in the company that makes the card I want" is funnier and more honest than another chart in ETH. That is the whole reason. It is not a prediction about NVIDIA. Q: Are you affiliated with NVIDIA, Robinhood, or pons? A: No. See section 10. Q: Should I put my rent money in this? A: No. Q: Should I put money I cannot afford to lose in this? A: No. Q: What is the most likely outcome? A: You lose what you put in. That is the most common result for tokens like this one, and nothing here makes this one an exception. ================================================================================ 10. LEGAL AND DISCLAIMER ================================================================================ $NEWPC is a meme coin with no team, no roadmap and no promise of value. It can go to zero. Buy only what you can lose, and verify every claim on chain yourself. NOTHING IN THIS FILE IS FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, LEGAL OR TAX ADVICE. Nothing in it is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security or financial instrument in any jurisdiction. No return, profit, distribution, revenue or appreciation of any kind is offered, implied or promised, by the creator or by anyone else. NOT AFFILIATED. This project has no connection to and no endorsement from NVIDIA Corporation, Robinhood Markets, Inc., Pons Labs, LLC, or any other company named anywhere in this file. Company and product names are used only to say factually which chain the token runs on and which asset it is priced against. All trademarks belong to their owners. ABOUT THE PAIRED ASSET. Pricing this token against a tokenised share does not give you any interest in that share, in the underlying company, or in any dividend, vote or claim attached to it. It is a unit of account for a joke. ABOUT THE GAME. Section 7 describes design work and a free demo. It is not a product on sale, not a service anyone is entitled to, and not part of what a buyer of $NEWPC acquires. No paid version exists. If one ever does it will be a separate thing with its own terms, and this file is not those terms. YOUR JURISDICTION MAY DISAGREE. Rules covering crypto-assets differ by country and change often. Working out what applies to you is your job, and nobody here is in a position to do it for you. ================================================================================ 11.
